Little Errors To Avoid When You're New To Buying Coffee Pods
Buying a pod-style coffee maker is so exciting. You probably can't wait to use it to brew a single cup of coffee at a time. But first, you need to go out and buy some coffee pods. This sounds like it would be as easy as grabbing a box off the shelf of the grocery store, and in many ways, it really is. However, there are a few common errors you'll want to avoid when you're new to buying coffee pods.
Error #1: Buying a whole box of one kind of coffee right off the bat
Part of the fun of having a k-cup coffee brewer is getting to experiment with many different types of coffee. So, if you buy one box of a single type of coffee your first time around, you pretty much miss out on this fun. Instead, a better option is to buy a variety pack the first time you buy k-cups. This way, you can try four, five, six, or even more varieties of coffee. Then you can keep re-buying the type you like best after that.
Error #2: Buying too big a box
You can find enormous boxes of k-cups that contain 200 or even 300 cups. New k-cup brewer owners are often drawn into this option because it's the cheapest, overall. But unless you have a whole family of coffee drinkers at home, it is going to take you a long time to go through that many k-cups. Some may go stale or not be at their best by the time you get to them. So, especially when you're new and don't know how quickly you'll use k-cups, your best bet is to buy enough for a couple of weeks at a time, at most.
Error #3: Not considering name brands
Yes, off-brand and generic k-cups are often a little cheaper than the name brand ones. But the price difference is usually quite small. The first time you buy k-cups, you really want to enjoy the coffee you make to the fullest and find out what your machine is really capable of. And so, it's generally worth paying a tiny bit more for name-brand coffee that tends to taste better and fuller.
Buying k-cups the first time around is not too difficult. However, there are a couple of little errors to avoid if you want this to be a delicious and meaningful experience. If you want to purchase k-cups, such as Starbucks k-cup pods, contact a supplier near you.
